Terms, privacy and policies

All attendees shall be subject to the rules and regulations of BLINDSPOTGIGS (The Organisers) as interpreted by its representatives, and to any other instructions given at the event.

  1. General:
    These T&Cs incorporate any Vendor's and/or Agent's T&Cs, including those of TicketSource, our ticketing agent. Artists and billed attractions may be subject to change. No trading or promotional activities without prior consent. Photographic equipment permitted for personal non-commercial use only.
  2. Ticket Validity:
    Every attendee must hold a ticket, regardless of age. All tickets are chargeable, with the exception of Essential Companion tickets, which are complimentary. Your ticket is valid only on the date shown on it and cannot be transferred between event dates. Each ticket admits the number of people stated on it and will be scanned once. Group and family tickets admit the whole party on a single scan, and all members of the party must enter together; individual members cannot enter separately or at a later time. Your ticket admits you to both displays taking place on your booked date; which displays you are able to see will depend on your arrival time. Tickets purchased from any source other than TicketSource or stowfireworkspectacular.co.uk may be void and admission may be refused. Do not buy tickets from touts - they are invalid. Tickets remain the property of the Organisers.
  3. Entry & Re-admission:
    Gates open at 4pm and last entry is 8pm. There is no re-admission at this event. Walthamstow Cricket, Tennis & Squash Club members wearing a valid member wristband may pass between the event and the WCTSC members' area via the member access checkpoint only, as set out in our WCTSC Member Access Policy. If you leave the event without a wristband, or leave the site by any other exit, you will not be re-admitted.
  4. Ticket Refunds & Exchanges:
    Tickets are non-refundable. This does not apply in the event of cancellation by the Organisers, in which case tickets will be refunded in full. As this is a leisure event taking place on a specified date, the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply. Exchanges can be requested via the TicketSource self-service portal and must be to the same event, on a different date. Exchanges are permitted up to 1 day before the event you are exchanging from, subject to availability, and must be equal to or greater than your original booking value. Exchanges can only be made by the original purchaser, and presale tickets are not eligible for exchange.
  5. Cancellation, Postponement & Programme Changes:
    This event takes place outdoors, rain or shine. Displays will not begin earlier than the times advertised, but may be delayed. The Organisers reserve the right to delay, alter or curtail the programme, including for reasons of safety or weather; such changes do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund. Displays will only be cancelled or postponed in the event of extremely severe weather or other circumstances that pose a genuine safety risk, as determined by the Organisers in consultation with relevant authorities. Where an event is cancelled in full and not rescheduled, ticket holders will be offered a refund or exchange to an alternative date, at the Organisers' discretion. Where an event is postponed and rescheduled, existing tickets will remain valid for the new date; if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request an exchange or refund. The Organisers are not liable for any other costs incurred as a result of a cancellation or postponement, including but not limited to travel or accommodation.
  6. Age Policy:
    No unaccompanied under 16s allowed on site. All under 16s must be accompanied by a ticket holder aged 18 or over, who must remain with them throughout the event. Unaccompanied under 16s will be refused entry and no refund will be given. Children aged 5 and under (newborn to the day before their 6th birthday) require a ticket and must remain with their accompanying adult at all times.
  7. Security:
    The Organisers reserve the right to evict or refuse admission without refund. Bag checks, security dog searches and personal searches are a condition of entry, carried out at security's discretion. Refusal to be searched will result in entry being refused and no refund will be given. Prohibited items may be confiscated and will not be returned. Any item considered for use as a weapon must be surrendered. Illegal items will result in Police involvement and refused entry. Anti-social behaviour may lead to eviction. Please note that working security dogs are deployed on site as part of the security operation.
  8. Banned Items:
    Gas canisters, aerosols, airhorns, fireworks, sparklers, flares, sky or Chinese lanterns, drones and remote-controlled aircraft, glass of any kind, open bottles (baby bottles excepted), liquids over 500ml, illegal substances, drugs, legal highs (including Nitrous Oxide), laser equipment, megaphones, blowtorches, petrol burners, sound systems, spray cans, BBQs, camping equipment, tabards/high-vis jackets. No outside alcohol. No bags larger than A4. No animals, with the exception of Assistance Dogs. No goods for unauthorised trading. Excessive food or cigarettes.   9. Alcohol:
    Challenge 25 is in operation at all bars. Valid ID may be required.
  10. CCTV, Photography & Effects:
    CCTV is in operation throughout the event. Still and moving image photography and filming take place throughout the event, and images may be used for promotional purposes. We rely on our legitimate interests in promoting the event; if you have concerns about being filmed, please speak to a member of event staff. For full details of how we handle CCTV and event imagery, see our Privacy Policy. Strobe and flashing lights are in use throughout the event, and the displays produce loud pyrotechnic noise.
  11. Assistance Dogs:
    No animals are permitted with the exception of Assistance Dogs. Working security dogs are deployed on site as part of the security operation, and the displays produce loud pyrotechnic noise. Please consider carefully whether the environment is suitable for your dog and contact us in advance at accessibility@stowfireworkspectacular.co.uk so we can support your visit.
  12. Parking:
    There is no onsite parking. Please see our Travel page for travel advice.
  13. Damage & Losses:
    The Organisers are unable to accept liability for personal or property damage, losses or injuries sustained at this event other than those caused by our negligence.
  14. Governing Law:
    These Ticket Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

These terms apply to tickets purchased through the Walthamstow Cricket, Tennis & Squash Club (WCTSC) member presale, and are in addition to our Ticket Terms & Conditions, which apply in full to all presale tickets. Where these presale terms conflict with the Ticket Terms & Conditions, these presale terms take precedence for tickets purchased in the member presale.

  1. Eligibility & Benefit:
    The presale is open to WCTSC members. Early access to tickets is the sole benefit of the WCTSC member presale.
  2. Refunds & Exchanges:
    Member presale tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This does not apply in the event of cancellation by the Organisers, in which case tickets will be refunded in full. As this is a leisure event taking place on a specified date, the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply.
  3. Member Access:
    A presale ticket does not grant access to the WCTSC members' area, the Clubhouse building or any other Club facilities. Member access during the event is covered by our WCTSC Member Access Policy, which applies to all WCTSC members attending the event regardless of how their tickets were purchased.
  4. Essential Companion Tickets:
    Essential Companion tickets are available during the member presale, subject to our Essential Companion Ticket Policy. One Essential Companion ticket may be claimed per event date, across the presale and general sale combined.

This policy applies to all Walthamstow Cricket, Tennis & Squash Club (WCTSC) members attending the event, whether their tickets were purchased in the member presale or the general sale. It is in addition to our Ticket Terms & Conditions.

In this policy, the "WCTSC members' area" means the decking and courtyard area between the event field and the Clubhouse building. It is the point at which the event site ends and the Club's own premises begin; what lies beyond it is governed by the Club's rules rather than by the Organisers. Event bars, food traders and attractions are located on the event field.

  1. Event Tickets and Club Facilities:
    An event ticket of any type does not grant access to the WCTSC members' area, the Clubhouse building or any other Club facilities. A valid WCTSC Access Card is required to access those areas.
  2. Gaining Access:
    If you wish to access the Clubhouse and Club facilities while attending the event, you must first enter the event through the main event entrance using your valid eTicket. Follow the event route to the member access gate near the white picket fence/decking area, where you must present your valid WCTSC Access Card to security to receive a member wristband. Once issued, your member wristband allows you to move between the event and the WCTSC members' area via the member access checkpoint.
  3. Member Wristbands:
    You cannot enter the event from the WCTSC side using your event ticket alone. All members must first enter through the main event entrance and collect a member wristband from the event-side checkpoint. Access to the WCTSC members' area from the event requires a valid WCTSC Access Card and member wristband. Your member wristband must be worn and visible at all times. Wristbands are not transferable: once fitted, a wristband is valid only for the person wearing it, and becomes void if it is removed, cut, altered or tampered with. Void wristbands will not be replaced and cannot be re-issued. Your wristband permits movement between the event and the WCTSC members' area via the member access checkpoint only. If you leave the event without a valid wristband, or leave the site by any other exit, you will not be re-admitted. Upon re-entry to the event, you may be subject to further bag searches at the discretion of security officers.
  4. Drinks at the Checkpoint:
    No drinks may be taken through the member access checkpoint in either direction. Drinks purchased at the event bars must not be taken into the WCTSC members' area, and drinks purchased at the Clubhouse bar must not be brought onto the event field. The event and the Club operate under separate licences. Drinks bought at the Clubhouse bar may be consumed in the WCTSC members' area and the Clubhouse building in accordance with the Club's own licence and rules, which are a matter for the Club and not the Organisers.
  5. Entry to the Clubhouse Building:
    The member access checkpoint is a temporary outdoor gate leading into the WCTSC members' area. A member wristband allows you through that checkpoint; it does not grant entry to the Clubhouse building. Entry to the building is controlled by the Club's own access system and membership policies, and is not operated by the Organisers. Your WCTSC Access Card may be required to open the access-controlled doors at the Clubhouse entrances, so please keep it with you. You may also be asked to present your card by Club staff or volunteers. Although the card does not display a name, it can be scanned by Club staff to confirm the registered cardholder.
  6. Wristbands for Family Members:
    Member wristbands may be issued against a single WCTSC Access Card for the cardholder and the immediate family members attending the event with them. Wristbands are issued at the discretion of the security officer at the member access checkpoint, and the cardholder must be present when they are issued.
  7. Misuse:
    A WCTSC Access Card may only be used to obtain wristbands for the cardholder and their immediate family attending with them, and must not be passed to, or used to obtain wristbands for, anyone else. Member wristbands must not be given, sold or passed to another person once issued. Security officers may decline to issue wristbands where a card appears to be used repeatedly for different groups, or where the cardholder is not present. Sharing a card or wristband with another person, attempting to obtain a wristband for someone who is not covered by a membership, wearing a wristband issued to someone else, or any other misuse of this policy, will result in the member wristband being removed and event re-entry privileges being withdrawn for the remainder of the event. Withdrawal does not entitle you to a refund. Repeated or serious misuse may result in event re-entry privileges being withdrawn at future events. Misuse may also be reported to WCTSC, who may take their own action under the Club's membership rules. Entry to the Clubhouse building, and any sanction relating to Club membership, is a matter for the Club and is not controlled by the Organisers.
  8. WCTSC Access Card:
    The WCTSC Access Card referred to in this policy is your Walthamstow Cricket, Tennis & Squash Club membership card. It is not connected to the Access Card (Nimbus Disability) or Blindspot Gigs Digital Access Pass used to book Essential Companion tickets.

Complimentary Essential Companion tickets are available to disabled attendees who require support from another person to access the Stow Firework Spectacular. Companion tickets are intended for those providing active disability-related support, not general companionship.

Eligibility is assessed and verified entirely by Nimbus Disability, the independent organisation that operates the Access Card scheme. We do not assess eligibility, and we do not ask for, review or store any medical evidence or information about your condition. We cannot change or influence Nimbus Disability's decision on your application.

  1. Booking:
    Essential Companion tickets are booked through TicketSource at the same time as your own ticket, in the same way as all other tickets, using either an Access Card (Nimbus Disability) or a Blindspot Gigs Digital Access Pass. Both routes are available during the WCTSC member presale and the general sale. Full details are on our Accessibility page.
  2. Access Cards & Digital Access Passes:
    The Access Card and the Blindspot Gigs Digital Access Pass are both issued and administered by Nimbus Disability, who determine eligibility and which access symbols are shown. The Access Card costs £15 and is accepted at venues and events across the UK. The Blindspot Gigs Digital Access Pass is free of charge and works in the same way, but is accepted only at Blindspot Gigs events. You do not need to hold both. Applications are made directly to Nimbus - please do not send applications or evidence to us.
  3. Entitlement:
    The number of Essential Companion tickets you may claim is determined by the access symbols shown on your Access Card or Digital Access Pass. In line with our standard admissions policy, all disabled children under 16 must in any case be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. Additional adults not covered by a complimentary Essential Companion ticket must purchase a standard ticket.
  4. Companion Requirements:
    Companions must be aged 18 or over. Companions must be capable of, and available to, provide support throughout the event including in an emergency or evacuation. Companions do not need to be family members.
  5. One Booking Per Date:
    Your Access Card or Blindspot Gigs Digital Access Pass entitles you to the number of Essential Companion tickets shown by the access symbols on it, and the booking system will only allow you to book up to that number. Some cards carry an entitlement to more than one companion. Because the member presale and the general sale are handled as separate events within the booking system, it is possible to book against the same card in both - but your entitlement may only be used once per event date. Attending more than one date requires a separate booking for each. Where the same card or pass has been used for the same event date in both the presale and the general sale, the later booking will be void and cancelled without refund. We will notify you by email before cancelling any booking.
  6. Availability:
    Essential Companion tickets are subject to overall event capacity. If the date you want has sold out when you go to book your Essential Companion ticket but the disabled person already has tickets, please contact us at accessibility@stowfireworkspectacular.co.uk before giving up - we will do what we can to help, although we cannot guarantee availability.
  7. At the Event:
    The Access Card or Blindspot Gigs Digital Access Pass used to book must be presented at the gate alongside the ticket holder's eTicket, and is checked against the person presenting it. Without it, the Essential Companion ticket will not be valid for entry. Our staff will not ask you about the nature of your disability and will not record your card or pass details at the gate.
  8. Conditions:
    Essential Companion tickets are valid only for the specific booking and date for which they were issued. Companions must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the point of entry or at any time during the event - a companion who is visibly intoxicated may be refused entry or asked to leave, in which case the Essential Companion ticket will be considered void for that visit. Companions must remain with the disabled attendee throughout the event. Essential Companion tickets that are no longer required should be returned at the earliest opportunity so they may be made available to others. Attendees who repeatedly book Essential Companion tickets and do not use them may have this facility withdrawn.

Blindspot Gigs is the data controller for this website and event.

Ticket purchases, including payment and personal details, are processed entirely by TicketSource, our ticketing agent, and are subject to TicketSource's own Customer Data Privacy Policy and terms. We do not directly collect or store payment card information. Personal data held in our TicketSource account is retained for 12 months from the date of your most recent booking, after which it is automatically deleted.

We directly collect personal data only where you contact us via email, WhatsApp, or our contact form. This data is used solely to respond to your query. Messages sent via WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy, as the service is operated by Meta.

Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA (v2 checkbox), which we rely on to prevent automated spam. When you use the form, Google processes technical information including your IP address and device and browsing data in order to confirm you are not an automated system. Google acts as a separate data controller for this, under their own privacy policy and terms. We rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the form secure and usable. reCAPTCHA is loaded only on the page containing the contact form.

Essential Companion tickets and the Access Card scheme. Eligibility for an Access Card or Blindspot Gigs Digital Access Pass is assessed by Nimbus Disability, who are the data controller for that process and hold any supporting evidence you provide to them. We do not ask for, receive, review or store medical information, evidence, or any information about your condition or diagnosis.

When an Essential Companion ticket is booked, the card or pass is verified through the Nimbus system. Through that system we can see the card holder's name, the card or pass number and its expiry date, and the access symbols issued - nothing further. Where your card or pass number is recorded against your booking, it is held within TicketSource, our ticketing agent, who process it on our behalf. We do not keep a separate copy on our own systems, and we access it only to confirm a booking is valid and to check that only one Essential Companion booking has been made per person per date. At the event, staff check your card or pass visually against the person presenting it; no record is taken at the gate, and staff will not ask about the nature of your disability.

CCTV is in use at the event for the safety and security of attendees, and for fraud prevention purposes. Footage is retained for 28 days and then automatically deleted, unless it is required for a specific investigation, fraud prevention matter, or legal claim, in which case relevant footage may be retained for longer as necessary.

Event photography and filming takes place throughout the event, and images may be used to promote this and future events. We rely on our legitimate interests in promoting the event as the lawful basis for this. You have the right to object - if you have concerns about being photographed or filmed, please speak to a member of event staff at the time, or contact us afterwards and we will remove images of you from our promotional material where we are able to identify them.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how your data has been handled.

Our Service may contain links to, and embedded content from, third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by the Company. These include our ticket booking widget provided by TicketSource and the Google reCAPTCHA protection on our contact form. The Company has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, functionality, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or embedded services.

All content on the Website, including text, photography, video, artwork, logos, and the Stow Firework Spectacular and Blindspot Gigs names and branding, is owned by or licensed to the Company and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print content from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes, including in event listings, ticket resale or advertising, without our prior written permission. Approved images for media use are available on our Press page and may be used for editorial coverage of the event provided they are credited as set out there. Any other request to use our images or branding should be sent to contact@blindspotgigs.co.uk.

We aim to keep the information on the Website accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free, and the Website is provided on an "as available" basis. Where information on the Website conflicts with our Ticket Terms & Conditions, the Ticket Terms & Conditions take precedence.

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including if you breach these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
